Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Follow the steps below carefully to install and activate your AFSID Expert Advisor.
Download the EA Package
Download the product package from your account area or from the download link provided by AFSID support. The package usually includes the EA file, best setting file, and installation instructions.
Open MetaTrader Data Folder
Open MetaTrader, then go to File > Open Data Folder. This will open the main folder where Expert Advisors and setting files must be placed.
Place the EA File
For MT4, place the EA file into MQL4 > Experts. For MT5, place the EA file into MQL5 > Experts. After copying the file, restart MetaTrader or refresh the Navigator panel.
Place the Best Setting File
Copy the setting file into the Presets folder. For MT4, use MQL4 > Presets. For MT5, use MQL5 > Presets. This file contains recommended settings prepared for the selected product.
Attach the EA to the Correct Chart
Open the required trading symbol and timeframe based on the product guide. Drag the EA from the Navigator panel onto the chart, then load the recommended setting file.
Enable AutoTrading or Algo Trading
Make sure AutoTrading on MT4 or Algo Trading on MT5 is enabled. Also allow automated trading in the EA settings so the robot can open and manage trades correctly.
Input License Information
Enter the license code or account activation information provided by AFSID. The EA will only run on a registered account number according to the selected license type.
Check EA Status
After installation, check the chart display, Experts tab, and Journal tab to make sure the EA is active and there are no license, symbol, or setting errors.
VPS Installation Recommendation
For better stability, AFSID recommends running the Expert Advisor on a reliable VPS. A VPS allows MetaTrader to stay online continuously without depending on your personal computer or local internet connection.
